Entirely professional in approach and flexible in execution, the staff are nice as well as thinking for themselves on the job and prepared unasked to go the extra step for the best finish.

The brief I gave Bown Design & Build was to renovate the top two floors of my house.  This involved a new layout with new stud walls on the top floor, installation of two new bathrooms, fitting new windows and radiators and changing much of the lighting and electrics, as well as decorating throughout and constructing built-in wardrobes and bookshelves.  The works also included retiling the front sloping roof and replacing one flat roof.  The time period available before I had to move in was short, only 3 months with Christmas in the middle of it taking 2 weeks out of the work schedule.  Not only did they complete the work on time but I am extremely happy with the finish and the design of the new layout.  I found Alistair and his team to be very professional and communicative.  I will definitely be asking them to renovate the ground floor when I get around to doing it!

It has been a pleasure working with the Bown team. Alistair was very organised, worked out a schedule of work to fit around my plans, and always communicated well. It was great to have a dedicated site manager, and all the different trades involved were always professional, friendly and responsive, and worked to a high standard.

I engaged Bown to do a loft extension and full house and garden renovation. Working with Alistair and his wonderful team was a great experience and I was really sorry to see them leave at the end of the project. The results were outstanding and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend.
